We are thrilled to announce that Grey Jay has signed a landmark tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MFN Management Inc. (Montana First Nation) and German remote sensing firm mundialis GmbH & Co. KG!

Together, we are building a first-of-its-kind, community-owned “Aerial Intelligence as a Service” framework designed to serve Indigenous and rural communities across Canada. By combining mundialis’ macro-level satellite analytics with Montana First Nation’s on-demand drone operations, this partnership bridges European spatial data expertise with Canadian Indigenous leadership.

Key Focus Areas:
Wildfire Risk Surveillance: Thermal & multispectral imaging to detect fuel loads and track fire perimeters in real time.
Territory & Watershed Management: Year-round environmental monitoring to protect local water supplies and ecosystems.
Community Logistics & Emergency Response: Streamlining deliveries, and search-and-rescue (SAR).
Data & Tech Sovereignty: Keeping operational control, data ownership, and workforce development directly within local communities.
